Q1. Please give us a brief introduction!

 The name’s Javert, 7D’s special investigator.
Last I checked, my height was around 188cm.
I have a talent for jokes and playing darts. Especially darts. I never lost a game.

Q2. You seem to be proud of your sense of humor. What kind of jokes do you crack?

 Good question. I’ll tell you one of my best.
Justice is a dish best served cold. Otherwise, it’s just water. Hahaha!

Q3. They say you’re not good with technology. How true is that?

 Well, the newfangled tech these days is nothing like the stuff from my time.
I recently learned that the mobile phones run on electricity.

Q4. People say your beard reminds them of a manta ray.

Is that a compliment?

Q5. How many times have you been tricked by Gumi?

I’m not exactly used to things of this era, so I was thankful when Gumi offered me some pointers about living in Library World.
But it turns out she was just trying to pull my leg.
Telling me that you’re suppose to take your shoes off when you get on the tram, saying there were people inside the TV screens.
It doesn’t even end there. She once told me the security cams on the streets were cameras for a TV show. Made me wave in front of it.

Well, I suppose that’s what foxes do. I try not to pay her too much mind.

Q6. Do you believe you’re handsome?

Well, I’m something of a model myself.

Q7. What do the potions taste like for you?

They taste like a mix of candy and bitter medicine.

Q8. When you were first learning chivalry, did you ever cringe at what you said?

 Well, I was but a young lad back then. I did think that sometimes.
But what’s important is not what I think, but the ladies who would be pleased to hear those words.

 Q9. Were you close with the Happy Prince and Sparrow? What are they like?

The Happy Prince is my goal, my teacher, and like a brother to me. Same goes for the Sparrow.
They both have different personalities, but they’ve both influenced me greatly.

Q10. Don’t you miss Zeppetta?

 Haha, lingering on the past is not very gentlemanly.
First and foremost, I decided myself to not have any emotions over it. It’s not like a gentleman to keep obsessing over it.
All my past memories are gone with the wind.

What’s important is not the past relationships, but the ladies I will be having the pleasure of meeting today.

Q11. Do you get along with Hook’s android robots?

 They’re cheerful and bright friends. A tad immature perhaps, but that’s just how pirates are.

Q12. What’s your relationship with Rabbit Company?

 Rabbit Company is a great firm with outstanding technologies.
We work together sometimes, and compete over things in other times.
But Zetto Petto in general provides services to inanimate persons of Library World,
so we don’t have much to compete over. Well, I suppose there are cases like Jack O’.

Q13. What are your thoughts on Legends associated with Umbra?

Well, it would take a long time to go over each and every one.

Q14. Is there a reason why you don’t return to your family?

 If I return to my family now, they’ll find out what I’ve been up to.
And Umbra might chase after me. I don’t want to make my family worry. And I don’t want to put them in danger…

Q15. When are you most thankful to have tails?

 It’s quite nice to cuddle up on them when I sleep.

Q16. Why don’t you use your claws during matches? Did 7D forbid you from doing it?

Hmph, not quite. I’ve just felt that I needed more than that.
When I was fighting that kid, Peter, I figured I would need more than illusions and claws to win.
And when I was trapped in “Librorum Prohibitorum,” I thought long and hard about how I could win.
You could say my current fighting style is a result of that.

Q17. What was it that Gumi did or about her that got her kicked out of Synop city?

Hmph, what a displeasing question. I don’t even want to think about it.
Let’s just say that people don’t take kindly to someone who has been labeled a “criminal” once.

Q18. What do I need to be your friend?

 Friend? I don’t need such unbelievable things.
Although, I would consider it if you wanted to become my underling, fufu.

Q19. Have you ever used crude language?

 An upstanding gentleman would never disrespect the person he’s talking to. No matter who they are.
If emotions get a hold of you or if you look down on others, then you are nothing but a ruffian.
Always act with dignity and composure. Above all, never forget your own policies.
That is the attitude a gentleman must take.

Q20. They say Alice installed many secret features in your body and staff. Do you feel yourself getting more powerful as time passes?

 Unfortunately, those features installed by Ms. Alice may be unrelated to combat.
Well, I suppose some of the features my staff has may be helpful…
But first, I must figure out how to use them, and it’s a tall task using features I’m unfamiliar with in a match of SMASH LEGENDS.

Q21. When did you start conning people?

Do you remember when you started eating bread in your life?

Q22. Can you detach your head?

 This lantern is what’s closest to my original body, so that would be a bit difficult.
Well, I suppose it could be done… But difficult.
After all, I can’t show you all of my tricks.

Q23. Please tell us about your Healing Aria.

 My Healing Aria? It’s the result of my research on healing.
And so are the potions being used in SMASH LEGENDS matches!

The combination of technology and magic used makes it so that it tastes different depending on the person receiving it. Like the potions!
To me, it tastes like scorched rice tea. I’d rather it tasted like strawberries, though.
But I can’t tell you where I keep it! It is a weapon I use in matches.

Q24. What’s the secret behind your amazing voice?

 Oh, you want to know my secret?
The most important thing is to keep practicing! And it’s important to set time aside to practice,
but I try to sing whenever I can. Even while working. It helps keep things fun!
And also! Don’t be embarrassed!
You’re putting in effort to become good at what you enjoy. Nothing to be ashamed of even if you’re not perfect!

Q25. How do you take care of your hair?

 Hohoho, isn’t my hair kind of nifty?
I’m a sea witch, so my hair’s very special! And it requires a special routine as well.
It needs to be soaked in seawater rich in various nutrients and minerals, and I need to pay attention to hair supplements.
Of course, managing my diet and stress levels are important too! Those little things can make a big difference.
But I’m not sure if my routine would be helpful to you. It might be similar in broad strokes, however!

Q26. How does Snow not get any eye bags?

  I take good care of him and make sure he gets a good nagging!
He has a lot of work, so he ends up overworking himself, often staying up all night, if I don’t keep an eye on him.
