9/9(Tue) Update Notes

Hello, this is SMASH LEGENDS!

On Tuesday, Sep 9th the game will undergo maintenance for a new update.
Please keep in mind that you will not be able to access the game during maintenance.

Below are details on the changes to be made in the update.

✨ New Update ✨

🔵🔷🟦 Engraving System Removed 🟦🔷🔵

– The leveling system [Engraving] will be removed.
– You can check the background and future direction of the [Engraving] system removal in the Developer Team Notes.

🟦 Key Changes Following the Removal of the Engraving System 🟦

1. Runes will be changed into character-exclusive items.

Example: If you purchased Peter’s Specialist Rune [Tactical Superiority], that rune can now only be equipped and used by Peter.

* Any runes you own at the start of maintenance will automatically be converted into exclusive runes for the Legends you currently own.
* Runes for Legends you do not own must be purchased separately with Credits after maintenance.

2. Runes can now be purchased with Credits. The price for each rune is as follows:

Core Runes: 5000 Credits
Attack Runes: 2500 Credits
Defense Runes: 2500 Credits

3. Engraving Pieces will be removed.

1) Engraving Pieces will be converted into Enchantment Essences.

– Based on the Role-specific Engraving level and the number of Engraving Pieces you owned before the update maintenance (9/9), they will be converted into Enchantment Essences and sent to your Mailbox.
– You can check the number of Enchantment Essences given according to Engraving levels in the table below.

– Each Engraving Piece you owned will be converted into 1 Enchantment Essence.

2) The rewards provided in the Smash Pass (Paid) will be changed as follows:

– Engraving Pieces will be removed, and Enchantment Essences will be added.

- Before: Engraving Piece ×4,500
- After: Enchantment Essence ×2,500

– The total number of Special Fortune Tickets and Credit rewards will be increased.

- Before
  - Special Fortune Ticket ×300
  - Credits ×35,000
- After
  - Special Fortune Ticket ×400
  - Credits ×40,000

3) Engraving Pieces that appeared in Smash Drops will be replaced with Enchantment Essences. Please refer to the table below for details.

5) Sales of the [Engraving Piece Package], previously available in the Beginner Special Offer, will end.

■ Notes

– Engraving Pieces will be sent to your Mailbox in two separate deliveries, and they must be claimed before December 31, 2025, 23:59:59 (KST).
– If you obtain duplicate Runes, they will be automatically converted into Credits.

🔄 Preset Feature Update 🔄

– A new Preset feature has been added, allowing you to save equipment setups for each Legend.
– Presets can be found at the top of the [Ready] pop-up, and up to 3 slots can be set per Legend.

– You can rename a Preset (1–16 characters) by clicking the Edit button.

🎟 Smash Pass New Chapter 🎟

: September 9 (Tue) after maintenance – October 2 (Thu) before maintenance

✅ Changes

✅ How to use Smash Pass

– You can purchase the following two items from the Smash Pass.

Smash Pass ($6.99): You will be able to use and obtain Smash Pass exclusive perks and rewards, including Timun’s new Super Rare skin, [Cheerful Shop Clerk], along with exclusive icons and frames.
Smash Pass Plus ($9.99): In addition to all Smash Pass perks, you will be able to use and obtain Smash Pass Plus exclusive rewards.
Along with Timun’s new Super Rare skin, [Lively Wandering Merchant], and the Plus-exclusive Revival Trail and Final Blow Effect, you will be able to immediately raise 20% of all stages(+8170 Battle Point).

■ Notes
– Smash Pass purchase perks will expire once the pass duration ends.

– You can upgrade to Smash Pass Plus even after purchasing the Smash Pass. (Price: $3.49)
– Timun’s new Super Rare skins, [Cheerful Shop Clerk] and [Lively Wandering Merchant], will not be available for purchase or obtainable through Fashion Summons for one year after this Season Pass ends.

⚡ Changes and Improvements ⚡

■ Clan
– The Clan system has been improved as follows:

1. You can now set your Clan to Public or Private. If set to Public, anyone can join the Clan.

2. In the [Join Clan] list, you can now see the number of recently active clan members.

■ End of Summer Content
– [Arcade Survival] will be removed from the Arena Lab.
– Stadium items and the Lobby theme will return to their default theme.

■ Miscellaneous
– The [Debut Pass – Cobalt Blue] and [Debut Pass] Special Fashion Summon have ended, and [Cobalt Blue] along with [Tiger Lily Orange] will now be available in the [Pickup Fashion Summon].

⚒ Bug Fixes 🛠

■ Gameplay Related
– Fixed an issue where Tyrfing with the [Revenger] ability equipped only gained 1 Ultimate stack instead of 2 when defeating an enemy with an Ultimate affected by Enchantment, Spells, or Runes.
– Fixed an issue where Victor with both the [Relentless Lightning] Awakening and the [Limit Breaker] talent equipped occasionally failed to trigger [Relentless Lightning] when detonating a Frankontainer Transmission.
– Fixed an issue where, when hit by certain attacks, Narsha’s flight mode would not end.

■ Miscellaneous
– Fixed an issue where the ‘Legend Stats’ screen was occasionally not displayed.
– Fixed an issue where Molly’s Ultimate description did not display that the Ultimate Gauge is charged when her shockwave is unleashed.
– Fixed an issue where the tier icon for Competitive Match Season 41 was not displayed in the Legend Statistics screen.
