On Tuesday, Dec 17th the game will undergo maintenance for a new update.
Please keep in mind that you will not be able to access the game during maintenance.

✨ New Update ✨

🎊🔶 Strike Barrier Improvements 🔶🎊

– Special effects added when reaching Lv. 6 for Strike Barrier.

– Participate in the event quest to get special skins for Snow, Don Quixote, and Master Cat!

– Don’t miss the unique performances of Snow, Don Quixote, and Master Cat who have landed the lead roles in the beloved opera “The Three Musketeers”!

⚔  [Duel of the Century: Battle for Honor] Event Quest

✅ Event Period: December 17 (Tue) after maintenance – January 27, 2025 (Mon) before maintenance (6 weeks)

– Clear the event quests and get [Duel of the Century: Battle for Honor] Fashion Tickets. Up to 50 [Duel of the Century: Battle for Honor] Fashion Tickets can be obtained by just completing the quest.
– Acquired tickets are used to Fashion Summon [Duel of the Century: Battle for Honor].

– An event-limited icon can be obtained through event rewards and will not be added to Fashion Summon after the event ends.
– You can obtain the event-limited icon when acquiring the Pickup skin during the quest period.

👔 [Duel of the Century: Battle for Honor] Fashion Summon

✅ Event Period: December 17 (Tue) after maintenance – January 27, 2025 (Mon) before maintenance (6 weeks)

– During the event period you can get the event skins [Blade that Cuts Through Malice], [Sword that Cuts Down Injustice], and [Shield that Stands Against Threats] at a higher rate through Pickup Fashion Summon or [Duel of the Century: Battle for Honor] Fashion Tickets.
– One of the three unowned new event skins will be guaranteed within 100 summons.

■ Note
– Once you own all three event skins, the guaranteed summon will not be preserved and will disappear immediately.
– During the event period you can get the event skins [Blade that Cuts Through Malice], [Sword that Cuts Down Injustice], and [Shield that Stands Against Threats] only through Pickup Fashion Summon.
– [Duel of the Century: Battle for Honor] Fashion Summon will end after the maintenance, and the guaranteed skin count and all owned [Duel of the Century: Battle for Honor] Fashion Tickets will disappear. Make sure to use them all during the event period!

💠 New Enchantment Summon Event 💠

✅ Event Period: December 17 (Tue) after maintenance – December 31 (Tue) before maintenance

– Play with the main characters of this update to get Enchantments faster!
– Using the event reward, the Legend Trial Ticket, allows you to clear quests for Legends that you do not own.
– Event quests can be seen under the event tab at the Lobby.

– You can get random Enchantments for all Legends, with Enchantments for Snow appearing at a higher rate.

– Each time the summon count reaches a certain number, you can obtain a Snow Guaranteed Enchantment Summon or Enchantment Ticket of your choice. (Up to 30,000 summons for up to 10 times)

🔶 Enchantment Summon – [Don Quixote]

✅ Event Period: December 17 (Tue) after maintenance – December 24 (Tue) 16:00 (KST)

– Available using Special Fortune Ticket upon reaching Fortune Level 4
– You can get random Enchantments for all Legends, with Enchantments for Don Quixote appearing at a higher rate.

– Each time the summon count reaches a certain number, you can obtain a Don Quixote Guaranteed Enchantment Summon or Enchantment Ticket of your choice. (Up to 30,000 summons for up to 10 times)

🔶 Enchantment Summon – [Master Cat]

✅ Event Period: December 24 (Tue) 16:00 (KST) – December 31 (Tue) before maintenance

– Available using Special Fortune Ticket upon reaching Fortune Level 4
– You can get random Enchantments for all Legends, with Enchantments for Master Cat appearing at a higher rate.

– Each time the summon count reaches a certain number, you can obtain a Master Cat Guaranteed Enchantment Summon or Enchantment Ticket of your choice. (Up to 30,000 summons for up to 10 times)

🔶 Enchantment Summon – [Loren and Vex]

✅ Event Period: December 24 (Tue) 16:00 (KST) – December 31 (Tue) before maintenance

– Available using Special Fortune Ticket upon reaching Fortune Level 4
– You can get random Enchantments for all Legends, with Enchantments for Loren and Vex appearing at a higher rate.

– Each time the summon count reaches a certain number, you can obtain a Loren and Vex Guaranteed Enchantment Summon or Enchantment Ticket of your choice. (Up to 30,000 summons for up to 10 times)

1️⃣ First Purchase Perks Added

– Legend [Ducky and Swan] will be gifted to players who purchase a paid-item, as a First Purchase Perk!
– Players who have purchased paid-items prior to the update will immediately receive “Ducky and Swan” after the update.

 🎆 Honor Token Package Added

– Flare’s new Epic skin [Dreaming Phantom Thief] is added.
– [Dreaming Phantom Thief] skin can be exchanged from the Fashion Tab by using Honor Tokens.

Developer Comment: In this update, a new item that can only be exchanged using Honor Tokens will be added. We are planning to implement an Honor Token Shop, from which Exclusive Skins, Profile Frames, and some Profile Icons from prior seasons can be exchanged, in a future update.

⚡ Changes and Improvements ⚡

■ Legend/Ability Balance Changes
– For details on balance changes, please read the “Balance Update Note”.

■ Legend Level

Developer Comment: As announced in the previous update and developer notes, the Legend Level feature will be added. Legend Levels can be increased using Credits, and leveling up will sequentially unlock enhancement effects. These changes are designed to reduce confusion for new players when they start the game. We have no intention of negating the hard work and achievements current players have invested so far. Therefore, all Legend Levels earned prior to the 8/27 update will remain intact.

• The Legend Level feature is added and new slots will become available as specific levels are reached.

• • Equip Spell available upon reaching Legend Level 7
  • Equip Ability available upon reaching Legend Level 8
  • Equip Enchantment available upon reaching Legend Level 9
  • Equip Rune available upon reaching Legend Level 10
• Legend Level, Spells, and Abilities can be obtained and enhanced by using Credits.

■ Trophy Road Overhaul

Developer Comment: With the addition of the Legend Level, the rewards for Trophy Road will be adjusted, and the ad rewards in Trophy Road will be removed. Ads in Trophy Road have been one of Smash Legends’ main revenue sources. However, we decided to remove them as they disrupt the gameplay experience, causing new players to spend more time watching ads than playing matches, hindering their acclimation to the game. Additionally, program errors caused by ads have led to unexpected crashes, further influencing this decision.

However, to address concerns from players who have previously purchased the ad removal package and may feel disadvantaged, the package’s duration will be extended by 7 days as compensation for those whose packages remain active at the time of the update.

• Ad Rewards in Trophy Road will be removed, and the Free Rewards will be adjusted accordingly
  
• If the [14 Day Ad Skip & Daily Gem Package] has remaining time, its duration will be extended by 7 days.

■ Miscellaneous

• When no equipment is equipped, spells will be prioritized for equipping.

⚒ Bug Fixes 🛠

■ Gameplay Related
– Fixed an issue where the “spell_not_found” popup appears and prevents gameplay.
– Fixed an issue where the cooldown UI for Enchantments was displayed for summoned Vex when Loren and Vex had a Mythic Enchantment equipped.
– Fixed an issue where no sound would play when Kaiser equipped with a Mythic skin attacked immediately after using Ultimate.

■ Miscellaneous
– Fixed an issue where the Upgrade Button was incorrectly displayed when purchasing a Spell while having an Ability.
– Fixed an issue where Legends’ shadows were displayed awkwardly when the graphic option was set to [Balanced].
