8/29 (Tue) Balance Update Notes

[Legend Changes]

Buffs

[Jack O’]

“We will be lifting the limitations we put on Jack O’ to keep his strength in check and patching up his weaker aspects.”

Ultimate

[Surprise!] 

  • Damage increased from 650 to 800.
  • Ultimate’s projectile will now slightly curve towards Jack O’ when returning.

Ability

[Approved Fuel Efficiency] 

  • Ultimate cooldown reduction increased. 12/13/14/15/16 → 22/24/26/28/30%
  • Jack O’ will no longer be able to reuse his Ultimate immediately by landing a Basic Attack after getting his Ultimate gauge refunded when he has Approved Fuel Efficiency equipped. Now, his remaining Ultimate gauge after the refund will be the same as it was when he didn’t equip this Ability.

[I Can Do It Myself] 

  • Refunded Skill cooldown when hitting an opponent with Aerial Skill increased. 24/28/32/36/40 → 40/45/50/55/60%

Ultimate

[Maximum Output!] 

  • Cooldown decreased by approximately 14%.

[Nui]

Basic Attack

[Daybreak] 

  • Aerial Attack’s damage increased from 200 to 300, and knockback greatly increased.
  • Aerial Attack’s projectile will now spin 1.2 times faster.

[Ali]

Basic Attack

[Charismatic Blade Dance] 

  • Second Ground Attack’s attack time decreased by 0.05 s.

Adjust

[Brick]

“Enhanced his ability to knock back opponents in the direction he wants to. Also, he will now be able to chain his Basic Attacks with his Skill for even more value.”

Base Stats

  • HP decreased from 5000 to 4500.
  • Movement Speed increased by approximately 8%.

Basic Attack

[Shoveling] 

  • New: Basic Attacks will leave a mark on opponents for 3 s. Marked opponents will take 300 damage and be stunned for 0.5 s when hit by Brick’s wall or Ultimate. The mark will disappear once this effect has been triggered.
  • First attack’s charge distance slightly increased.
  • Second attack’s hitbox increased.
  • Second attack’s knockback will now have a more downward trajectory.

Skill

[Groundworks] 

  • Cooldown increased from 4 s to 5 s.
  • Max stack decreased from 3 to 2.
  • Wall duration increased from 3.5 s to 5 s.

[Maya]

Base Stats

  • HP decreased from 5100 to 4900.
  • She can now climb over stairs and small ledges when charging.

Skill

[Graceful Maneuvering] 

  • Travel distance decreased when used while charging.
  • Second attack’s hitbox decreased when used while charging.

[Ducky and Swan]

“Her last nerf that encouraged players to play her more aggressively was unsuccessful as it ended up tampering with the character’s flow negatively. Ducky will now be able to transform into Swan more frequently, but Swan’s more difficult-to-deal-with attacks have been nerfed.”

Ultimate

[Wingbeat] 

  • Ultimate charge rate over time increased by approximately 33%.
  • Ultimate charge gauge gained from dealing damage greatly increased.
  • While in Swan mode
    • Ground Attack’s charge distance slightly decreased.
    • Aerial Attack’s charge angle will now face more downward.

[Bug Fixes]

  • Fixed an issue with Snow where Relentless Lightning would trigger multiple times on attacks after hitting Victor’s Frankontainer with his Skill.
